THE SNAKE CHARMER Teal

In the early 20’s Sonia and Robert return to Paris attracted by the Interwar artistic movements, specially dada. Though they still had to struggle with finances. To solve that, Robert sold The snake charmer (La charmeuse de serpents), a work by his admired Henri Rousseau, commissioned by his mother Berthe Delaunay on 1907. And Sonia kept on using her art for commercial purposes.
